Complaint Department: seatcover edition

This is the post where I talk about my underpants..
If you do not want to know about my bloomers, I suggest you walk on.

I have really needed new underwear for a while now.
I am still wearing my cotton bikini cut undies from LameGiant circa 2009-2010. I kid you not.
Why are my skivvies so vintage? well lets see.. Normal price for that type of underwear, from that brand tent to be very expensive. like buy 5 for $32.. which is 6.50 a pair when on sale.. normal price $12.50-14.50
So I tend to wear my undies till they fall apart.
When too many pairs need to be sacrificed/ put out of their misery,  I am forced to make due with less wearable undergarments.

I have dabbled in the microfiber undies I found in two packs for $5 at ross.
They are comfortable. and they feel like you aren't wearing undies.. But they make dresses cling. and feel odd under jeans. Plus not so breathable.

I wanted to be clever, I bought run of the mill cotton undies. I was willing to sacrifice style to an extent for comfort.
I found that Jockey brand at there size 11 barely fits. But they are comfortable and have cute patterns.
If one isn't interested in style beyond basic and granny panties.

I also bought a pack of cotton fruit of the loom "my size" undies.. Holy hell they blow goats!
The elastic on top is like 220 grit sand paper. It is rough, and it literally bites into my skin.
After a single day of wear I want to burn all the other ones that came in the pack.
EVIL EVIL not 100% cotton either.

The Devil's Loom
Her smile is a LIE!

Here is what I have: undies that are i think made to be torture devices, and undies that are a tad to small.
I am left with the option to continue my search for glorious cotton under things, but in the mean time wear my falling apart vintage ones for a tad longer.
What a lucky girl I am..

  1. OMG I hear you.Im wearing the "your size" ones but as im disabled and have to sit a lot that liner seam at the bttom is a real pain. And the top elastic does not last ! i have some nice tumy control ones but they do not breath and curvy girls tend to be hot.....haha.

    1. That seat seam is really weird! The first time I put them on I thought I had my shirt caught in my undies.
Good to know I am not the only one who thinks it is a pain.

  2. Don't skin me for suggesting, Wal Mart. The ones that come on the hangers (like 2-3 pairs) not the package ones. OP and No Boundaries are my favorite. Sizes are weird which is why I like the ones on the hangers (so I can see them, I like the boy short style.) my collection has medium to xl. I bought xl size 8 Hanes in the package once and they're so big I can pull them up past my belly button. Those are my time of the month set now, lol.

    1. I've tried walmart undies before, they don't fit :-(. OT they don't make the cute ones in my size..
      But thanks for the suggestion!

    2. That's lame, from what I've read in your blog I figured we were around the same size. Given I don't have much a butt for being a big girl. But, no problem.

    3. I'm a fairly solid 26 or 4x. I do that clothes that are smaller and larger (like every other fat person) but i normally find stuff sized 26 fits most of the time.
