The Bird and the Bee: GB wrap up

Hello friends!

I am on the cusp of the end of my trial with Gwynnie Bee, as you saw over my last few posts I have been less than thrilled with my trial.
So today I wrote them an email about my experience it reads as follows:




 Hi! 
I just wanted to drop a note to tell you about my experience with your free trial.
I was really excited to try your service, There are lots of brands that I have wanted to try, due to being unsure of fit since I can't just go to a store to try them on before I purchase the clothing, your service seems like a perfect solution. I started putting things in my closet knowing I only had a limited time to try your service to see if it worked for me, so I was cautious and only added a hand full of items. I then discovered you recommend at minimum 25 things in a closet at a given time. While that seems like a fair number, not a lot of the things you offer appeal to me or do not have my size listed.  
However I was willing to ad items I wasn't very fond of in hopes that something was better in person, or fit me even though the size wasn't what i normally wear.

Neither of the hopes I had have come to any end. I am now almost out of time on my trial and all three (yes 3.. in almost month) items have only been tried on and then sent back the next day, without ever leaving my house.I have been very disappointed in the clothing that has been sent my way, and how long shipping new items has taken. I have yet to get any of the items I added to my cart on the first day, the ones that made using this service seem like a good idea. 

The topper is I get an email over the weekend telling some items are being removed from rotation, clothing that I really wanted to try on, clothing I really wanted to purchase (even if not through your service) if it fit. lame..
Lack of control of my own "closet" is extremely frustrating. Not knowing how long I have to wait for a garment, is confusing. waiting almost a week for a single item, that then is lack luster, doesn't fit, or isn't my style; is a drain on the pocket book once the subscription starts costing money.

On the surface the service you offer is an amazing idea, however there seems to be a few logistical issues that cause it to not work for me (and a few of my friends who I have spoken to about your service).I hope some of this changes in the future, and I can give you a try again. But for now I am disenchanted.

as for now however my review for this service is a resounding "MEH".

I'm really bitter I didn't get tr try one dress from kiyonna. I'm going to go sit and pout and look at the clothing in my real closet and try to see what I can purge.

On that note: I will have some of my used stuff up for sale here on a new page in the coming weeks.
